Step 1: Remove loose and deteriorated concrete. Saw-cut joint edge to vertical with "Crac-Vac" saw. Sandblast joint and use oil / moisture free compressed air to blow the joints clean.
Step 2: Cover joint with tape and prime spall area with neat Prime Bond 3100 Bonding Resin.
Step 3: Insert properly sized polylined styrofoam or black expansion board to maintain joint configuration.
Step 4: Add 4 to 5 parts of Prime Blend Sand to one part correctly mixed Prime Bond 3100. Place into spall area and trowel smooth.
Step 5: Carefully remove styrofoam after waiting 3 to 4 hours at 70° F.
Step 6: Pre-mix Prime Seal 5000 thoroughly (three minutes with a low speed drill) and fill joint using bulk-load caulk guns. Inspect joint for low spots after 30 minutes. Top these areas off with neat material.
