Fulton County, Georgia is repairing approximately 50 manholes in this Alpharetta lake community. Some of the manholes are actually located within the lake.
The county is using Prime-Flex Hydro Gel, a water activated polyurethane material that cures to a flexible gel. 3/8 inch holes are drilled through the walls near the leaks. The Hydro Gel is then injected through the wall to the backside, it then mixes with the water, travels back into the crack, and permanently seals the leak.
