Palm Beach seawall repair

Cracks in a seawall at the Port of Palm Beach caused major voids to form behind the wall. The voids would eventually compromise the integrity of the wall. The port is a busy base of operations, so taking the time to replace the seawall or otherwise do an invasive repair was an option port officials hoped to avoid.

The port engineer approved the recommendation by Seawall Doctors to curtain grout the wall with Prime Flex 920, a hydrophobic polyurethane that forms a watertight barrier and seals the cracks in the wall. This prevents further erosion. Chemical grouting saved the port tens of thousands of dollars over other options. Read how they did it here.
