Leaks sealed in tieback anchor system

When one is excavating a pit 80-feet deep and several acres in area, it is necessary to create a temporary perimeter wall of concrete caissons. A post-tensioned cable tieback anchor system then holds these in place. If water is gushing out of the cable sleeves, however, it becomes impossible to weld the anchor plates to the walers. That is exactly the scenario at a mammoth excavation for the Flushing Bay CSO. Read how Prime Resins polyurethanes sealed those leaks after three other methods failed. Case study.
